UINTA COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
According to the Uinta County government website the Uinta County Economic Development Commission (UCED) has the following ten members:
Commission Director: Gary Welling (Also serves as: GIS Coordinator/Dept. Head for Uinta County; Southwest Wyoming Off-road Trails Board,)
Commission Members:
Dan Wheeler – Chairman (Also serves with: Wyoming Community Foundation; Lodging Tax Board; Uinta County School District #1 board; Evanston Parks and Recreation District; Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1).
Eric Wyatt – Vice Chairman (Also serves as President of Bridger Valley Chamber of Commerce).
Ben Bell – Secretary/Treasurer (Also serves with First Bank of Wyoming; Rotary Club of Evanston);
Jon Conrad (Also serves with Tata Chemicals; Wyoming Economic Development Association; Wyoming Mining Association; Essential Minerals Association North America).
Clyde Kofoed (Mayor/Bear River) (Also employed with Tricon);
Brent Hatch (Uinta County Commissioner) (Also serves with Lincoln Uinta Revolving Fund; Evanston Chamber of Commerce; District Executive at Boy Scouts of America; Evanston Regional Hospital Board of Trustees; Southwest Wyoming Off-road Trails Board).
Mark McGurn (Also employed by McGurn Enterprises, LLC).
Eric Quinney (Also serves with Habitat Conservation Assistance Network; Uinta County Fire and Ambulance; WY EMS Association).

Out of ten UCED members, only two are publicly elected officials.

The UCED page at the Uinta County government website does not provide any meeting minutes or any financial documents. Under “Values” on the UCED Commission Member page states, “Be honest and transparent in decision making with the best interest of Uinta County as the foundation.”
The UCED page at the Uinta County government website links to an outside website Evanston-Uinta County Economic Website. This website shows a staff of three (none are elected officials) with no transparent information helpful to a Uinta County taxpayer.
