Earlier today at the Minerals Interim Committee Meeting Lincoln County Commissioner Ken Conley (while speaking about the TerraPower nuclear reactor planned for Kemmerer) revealed:
“We knew they were bringing that nuc seven years before they announced it.”
So if you do the math:
June 4, 2021 Governor Gordon announced the Terra Power project.
2021 – 7 = 2014.
Governor Mead was three years into his first term in 2014.
A project being planned all the way back to Matt Mead’s first term, seven years before public input was even allegedly considered, leads one to believe the timing of the project was most likely designed to circumvent citizen awareness and involvement altogether.
