| Sep 6, 2025 Campbell County drawing interest from large companies, economic development official says Economic Development will use the contributions from the city, county and private donors — with each putting forth about $130,000 — as a match for a grant that, if awarded, would fund the organization for three years.Rusty Bell, executive director of Energy Capital Economic Development, said the organization has moved on from a “build it and they will come” mindset… Commission Chair Kelley McCreery asked Bell what those two companies are. One of them is BWXT, Bell said. Bell declined to name the other company because of non-disclosure agreements, and for now it’s being referred to as Project Mammoth. |
