U.S. Department of Commerce Invests Approximately $1.7 Million in Idaho and Wyoming to Strengthen Nuclear Energy Workforce Training Program Through Good Jobs Challenge.
The project will support the Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor Tech Hub, which EDA designated a Tech Hub in 2023.
The Intermountain-West Nuclear Energy Corridor Tech Hub correlates in Wyoming to Laramie and Rock Springs, and the funding is coming not from the U.S. Dept of Energy or the Nuclear Regulatory Authority, but rather the U.S. Treasury and the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
